Hi all, Greetings for the day. We had already registered with ESIC in the year 2003. When ESIC went online, unknowingly, we registered online with a new number which we were not aware of. We thought there might be a new number for online use. Due to delayed payments, we could not regularly check online. Additionally, we have submitted challans and returns to the branch office but have not received any information from them. We are uploading the same without any errors in our ESI number, which is the same as the old manual ESI number that was not entered by us but is directly on the site.
Issue with ESIC Registration Numbers
My problem is that I received a notice from the ESI Head office for delayed payments, requiring payment of interest and damages with the old number. Upon inquiry, I discovered that there has been a change in my number, and the payments were made on the new number.
Kindly assist me with this issue as it is urgent.
