I left my previous organization in Delhi in 2009 and am currently working in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. I would like to withdraw my PF amount from the period when I worked there, which is from 2007 to 2009.
Guidance on PF Withdrawal Process
Kindly guide me on how to apply for the withdrawal process. Also, I would like to know if any interest will be applicable to this amount.

You need to fill out Form 10 and Form 19, which are available on the website or at any PF office. After filling out the forms, have them attested by your previous employer and submit them to the PF office. Your money will be transferred to your bank account.

There are two ways to get the money:
1. **Withdraw:** For this, in the forms specified by Sreeram, mention the reason for leaving as RESIGNED and tick the relevant option of receiving the payment - Bank transfer/cheque, etc. These forms are sent to the authority through your previous employer only as they need to validate certain details. Also, the amount is received quite fast, with an average time of around 1-2 months at max.
2. **Transfer to your new company's PF:** This is a fast and easy option. Simply ask your new employer to continue the PF account that you were holding for the salary transfers. However, in case they have already opened one, then simply fill in Form No. 13. Also, this is to be sent through your new employer only. So, no follow-up with your erstwhile employer is needed.
