Dear All,
I am working in the project division as Sr. H.R. & Admin. In our organization, most of our employees will be working from outstations (sites). We are facing problems with existing leave policies (i.e., CL-12, SL-12, EL-15 which are not carried forward to the next year). Can anyone help me by sharing a leave policy that will be suitable/beneficial for site employees?
Looking forward to a positive reply.
Regards,
Sai Kishan

Leave Policy Clarification
CL and SL cannot be carried forward to the next calendar year, but PL/EL can be carried forward to the next calendar year. As Mr. Ashok has mentioned, at the discretion of the management, the policy can be flexible, which should not harm the interests of the company.

I am working in a PSU. We can even accumulate S/L up to 120 days. P/L or E/L (in your case) can be accumulated up to 300 days. Both are encashable at the time of retirement. P/L can be encashed once in a financial year provided the employee has availed at least 15 days of P/L. Sometimes, due to financial constraints, this facility is withdrawn.

Normally, earned leave is accumulated up to 120 days. Sick leave can be accumulated up to 30 days as per labor law. However, casual leave cannot be accumulated and carried forward to the next year.

Can anybody help me create a leave policy for the education sector or email it to me at [Email Removed For Privacy Reasons] as a format? I have joined the corporate office of an education sector organization. Employees are divided into two sections: Teaching and Non-Teaching staff. Could you please help me polish the leave policy?
Thank you.
