Most of the written tests are conducted as a pre-employment process. The written test, as a whole, is segregated into minimal types depending on the match with the company, such as Personality tests, Psychometric tests, Aptitude tests, and sometimes even as complex as alphanumeric tests. If you have applied for a position that involves financials or money handling, you may expect Mathematics and logical testing.

If applying to an Administrative post, typing skills, letter drafting, professional behavior, and language skills testing are customary. Particularly, when applying for any IT-related sector, the test sequence may widely depend on knowledge and assessment. Now it's your call to identify the necessary trail in the business you applied to.

Good Luck!

Thank you very much, Ms. Sharmila. To give you a clear picture, I am applying for the position of tea taster and tea auctioneer at J Thomas and Co. Pvt. Ltd. What type of written test can I expect?

Thanks and Regards,
Prajna

I have heard about this company. I suggest you go through the market standards and risks, sales statistics, and a bit of math and logical reasoning with general IQ questions to some extent.

Note: The best way to understand the criteria of the test is to visit their website and gather some information. Try this, and I'm sure you will meet the mark.
