Hi all, I have completed over 10 years of service in an organization and am looking to withdraw from my EPS/PF account. I have a query regarding the EPS form 10c, specifically the 8th question which asks, "Are you willing to accept a scheme certificate in lieu of withdrawal benefits?" Should I answer with a simple "Yes" or "No" to this question? Please confirm.

Thank you.

As you have completed more than 10 years as a member of PF/EPS, you are left with no choice but to go for the certificate. However, if you are over 50 years old and not planning to take up employment elsewhere, you can opt for a reduced pension or wait until the age of 58 to receive the full pension.

The question is relevant only if your services are less than 10 years, as clearly mentioned in the instructions.

Hope this clarification helps.
