I received a prohibitory order from the Employees Provident Fund Organization stating that I need to pay the dues for the years 2006 to 2009. However, according to my records in the organization, I have no dues and have all the proofs of annual returns submitted. Please help me understand what steps I should take.
Thanks.

These are recovery orders issued to your bank for recovery. You have not attended the proceedings when you were called to give your explanation during the proceedings at the Regional Provident Fund Office. Now you don't have any alternative except to go to appeal against this order in the Provident Fund Tribunal, which is an appellate court situated in New Delhi. Please hire a good advocate who can take up your case.
