A good comparison of extremes has been presented. While Hitler's authoritarian style would face stiff resistance, Chaplin's style may be ineffective in the current scenario. In today's scenario, the middle path is the best leadership approach because leaders don't know what the next situation will be in a few seconds. Every company desires a different type of leadership, and if a person is too rigid or too lenient, they will encounter challenges in managing both people and company bosses.
Therefore, I believe that leadership requires various abilities and skills.
