If any employee/workman works for 240 days a year, he will be entitled to 1 earned leave (EL) for 20 days of work. I wonder how you would compute 240 days a year. If the employee/workman takes earned leave/casual leave/maternity leave, will the number of days falling on such leaves be counted? Please clarify this issue using numerical methods.

If any employee/workman works for 240 days a year, the calculation is as follows from a real case in my company:
Total working days calculated as 280 (approximately, considering weekly off + restricted holidays). Total present days: 241. Total CL: 15 (this is calculated based on last year's present days). Total EL: 12. Total SL: 12.
So, for the coming year, the person will get EL calculated on 241 days, which is approximately 12 days.
