Please let me know the procedure to complete the closure of the factory. In the company where I am currently employed, all the employees have already left the company premises as of December 31st, 2011. What steps should I take in this situation?

Closure of the Factory: Employee and Business Considerations

Is it that there was no employee in the factory when you decided to close down? The reason for closing is that all the employees have left the factory or due to a lack of business.

Yes, due to the lack of business, all the employees have left the factory. We have decided to close the factory on December 31, 2011. What should I do in this situation? Please let me know. Until now, we haven't informed any department.

Please inform the Factory Authority and the ID authority that, as all employees have left the organization and submitted their resignations, the company wishes to close its business here. Additionally, kindly submit the original Factory license to the authority and send the notice of closure form Q (if your factory's strength was within 50 to 100). Ensure compliance with other applicable regulations.
