Dear Madam, if your company is a factory within the meaning of the Factories Act, and if more than 30 women workers are employed, then a crèche is mandatory for the use of children under the age of 6 of such women. These rooms must provide adequate accommodation, be adequately lighted and ventilated, maintain a clean sanitary condition, and the in-charge must be trained in the care of children and infants.
