To,
All Managers, Hospitality Professionals and Management Thinkers
Greetings!
I have taken up a case study that I would like to discuss. The case...here it goes...
XYZ hotel is not doing well. Sales figures don\'t talk much. It was a single owned property, till last year. Now it is a managed property one of the International Budget Hotel Chain. The hotel\'s management has hired all the professionals at the higher management level. Still, the hotel is not able to pump in revenue, as required.
Even though, it is a managed property now, the payment terms and the main key lies in the hands of the directors. They are not making the payment to the staff on time. The payment is getting delayed by months. The managers are struggling to get the ground level staff. The hotel\'s image is very bad in the market and going worse in terms of maintaining the staff. 80 out of 100% of the professional employees in the market have the same opinion that this organisation does not pay on

Dear Mr. Rohit
The first phrase of your case study says that "XYZ hotel is not doing well". Without knowing the FACTS i am not in position to post my suggestions and i want to know the ROOT CAUSE for it. There must be CONCRETE FACTORS associated with it.
Inspite of appointing PROFESSIONALS @ HIGHER MANAGEMENT, still, the hotel is not doing well. Again there must be a CONCRETE ROOT CAUSE associate with it.
What is the VISION, MISSION & STRATEGIC BUSINESS OBJECTIVES of HOTEL MANAGEMENT?
What is the LOCATION of HOTEL? Can it be the one of the reasons for not attracting customers, resulting in LOSS
What are the MARKETING STRATEGIES of the HOTEL MANAGEMENT?
To what extent SERVICES are RATED(STAR)?
and lot more queries can be posted. Certain CASE STUDIES may be INCOMPLETE due to LACK OF INFORMATION.
If you have further information to be shared, please feel free to revert.
With profound regards
