Proposed Strategies for Indias Superpower Status through Transaction Tax: An Analysis - CiteHR

India as a Superpower: A Vision by Mr. Anil Bokil

One of my friends, Mr. Anil Bokil, who is essentially an engineer, has envisioned how India can become a superpower. From the very first day I met him, I felt he was a unique individual. He remains unmarried and has initiated a cooperative industrial sector in Chikalthana, Aurangabad, Maharashtra Industrial area.

The Proposal: A Transaction Tax System

The presentation was made in 2004, and although some figures may have changed since then, the concept remains the same and could still be effective. He proposes that transactions should go through banks, and a transaction tax of 2% per transaction could make a significant difference.

Since this is related to financial management, I have posted this thread here. He has shared this presentation with many politicians, and his proposal has been reviewed and returned with very positive feedback.

Can we change the system? Please read.

Sudhir
