I am working in one of IT Company in Ahmedabad. And I want to know that is there ESIC is applicable for IT industry or any of service industry?

Hi Pruthak,
Esic is applicable on the salary basis not on the industry basis.
1.Who are all Earring bellow 15k they will be covered by the esic.
2. Esic is applicable for all the industry
3. But More than 20 employees should be there.
plz check for more information in the ESIC ACT 1948

Agree with raghu...ESIC will be applicable if employees are more than 20 and there earning is more than 15,000/-. But there are few locations were ESIC is not applicable.
