First, you should find out the reason why you are paid less than others. Maybe they are more experienced than you, have a higher degree, or something else. I suggest that, rather than writing a letter, you should speak to your supervisor first.

Pooja Nukani is right. If you have the habit of writing a diary of your day-to-day activities at your office, that will help you very much in this regard. You have to show that diary/activity notebook to your superior, and it will be taken care of. To your surprise, you will be getting more than what you have expected. Do not try with letters as it damages your image and will create a negative impression that you want to start a union sort of setup.

First of all, make a list of the work you do at the office on a daily basis, along with your achievements and skills that you are utilizing for the growth of the organization. After that, try to compare if the line staff has the same qualifications and accomplishments as you. This comparison will help you understand why you might be paid less or provide you with strong points for negotiation. Present these reasons to the HR department, as they will offer you a reasonable answer or solution.

I think you are working in Qatar. Probably, your job agent has under-fixed your remuneration. I think you are in contract services and signed the contract agreement. This may be due to a lack of knowledge of the Gulf market in terms of salary and other perks. You may have to struggle a lot to get a salary revision. Approach your seniors with a request to remove the anomaly.

You need to talk about this with your immediate point of contact or the person who hired you. Generally, salary is what you receive only after your affirmative reply during the negotiation process. It is very common in organizations for a person who can negotiate well to get their desired amount, even if others agree to a lesser payout for the same job. Before talking to your boss or hiring manager, you should check and recheck the terms and conditions mentioned in your offer and appointment letter.
