(8) Perpetrators of corruption exceeding fifty lakh rupees should receive life imprisonment.

(10) Those involved in corruption of amounts between five lakh and ten lakh rupees should serve a five-year prison sentence.
(11) Offenders engaged in corruption ranging from one lakh to five lakh rupees should be imprisoned for three years.

Now it is the time for consolidating all our acts, rules, and other laws in our country. There should not be any second opinion on this. We have to remove all the escaping measures available in our legal system, like Sections 76 to 106 of IPC. Offenders should be punished with imprisonment, provided the specified clauses are followed, and the general exemption and special exemptions clauses must be removed. If a person commits such an offense, they should be punished, and those involved and induced should also face equivalent or more severe punishment.
Only then will there be fear in the minds of the officials.
