Hi, currently, I am working in a company, and they have appointed me as a system analyst and given me payroll/salary responsibilities. I have completed my MPM and am looking to pursue a career in the HR field. Will this position provide me with exposure to an HR career? I am eager to establish a career in HR. Please reply.

According to my point of view, it will help in the future in your field of HR. You know, admin is also a part of HR, and payroll is also a part of HR. But you should try in recruitment, selection, and performance appraisal, etc. like field. They are a part of HR.

Thanks for the reply. I have completed my M.P.M. During the interview with the HR manager, I requested to be appointed as an HR trainee, but they denied and offered me the position of a system analyst. We have HR payroll software, so that might be why they made that offer. I am confused about whether changing jobs will be beneficial for me.
