The Importance of IR/ER in the IT Sector

If IT is conducting business with workers, employees, professionals, or any other designation, there must be an IR or Employee Relations department. Furthermore, there is an increasing requirement for IR in this new operational domain, possibly due to the company's attitude towards frequent terminations. This could also stem from certain concessions granted by the state concerning labor law enforcement, leading to misuse of the right to terminate services without valid reasons, either by laying off professionals or completely shutting down operations abruptly.

The nascent phase has concluded, and the lenient approach is nearing its conclusion. Thus, even in the IT sector, there exists a demand for IR/ER professionals. I contend that this realm is at the heart of HR, albeit being considered obscure in today's scenario, its importance cannot be disregarded.
