Dear Sir,

I am an employee of a private company. I have a few questions:

1) What is the minimum years of service to be entitled to a pension? Also, does the service need to be in one organization continuously for that minimum time?

2) What happens to the pension if one changes jobs before the minimum time is completed?

3) I am currently working in my fourth company; however, I have neither transferred nor withdrawn the PF amounts from previous companies. Is it possible to transfer the PF accounts from all three previous companies to my current company's PF account?

I would be highly grateful if you could kindly provide me with the answers.

Thanks & Regards,

Minimum Service for EPS Pension Eligibility

1. The minimum service in EPS to qualify for a pension is 9 years and six months. This service may be accrued in different organizations.

2. The service is transferable to future employment.

3. You can submit Form 13 to your current employer for each period of service, allowing you to transfer all previous services.

Dear,

1) Continuous service for 9.6 years includes if you have not discontinued your service for not more than two months.

2) There is no matter if you change the company often, but you have to provide the service of 10 years to claim the pension, okay.

3) It is mandatory either to withdraw or to transfer within 36 months from the date of change or if you have left the organization.
