What are the maternity benefits given to female employees in IT companies specifically? Can anyone suggest what kind of maternity benefits must be given in a company with an employee strength of around 50 people?

benifits are as per Maternity Benefits Act 1961. Use search option in this forum and you can find lot of info on MB Act. pon

The nature of business or activities pursued by any company, such as whether it is an IT or trading company, does not alter the provisions of labor legislation (unless explicitly implied), including the provisions and benefits of maternity leave for eligible employees. However, it is within the discretion of employers to provide additional benefits beyond what is required by law.
