Historical Blunder

We all know the Taj Mahal as a symbol of love. However, the other lesser-known facts are:

1. Mumtaz was Shah Jahan's fourth wife out of his seven wives!
2. Shah Jahan killed Mumtaz's husband to marry her!
3. Mumtaz died during her 14th delivery!
4. He then married Mumtaz's sister!

The question arises, where is the love?

Yes, that's true. But even in its present day, it's been shown as a symbol of love, whereas in no way does it qualify to be one. Moreover, it has political notions and interests added to it. It's all due to the hypocrisy that we Indians are so used to seeing in our daily lives as we are born and brought up in such a culture. We say what we don't mean and mean what we don't say!

As a Bachelor
Takdir hai, magar kismat nahi khulti. I like to, but I do not have luck. Tajmahal banana chahata hoon. I want to construct the Taj Mahal, lekin Mumtaz nahi milti. But I did not find Mumtaz.

As a Lover
Takdir hai, magar kismat nahi khulti. I like to, but I do not have luck. Tajmahal banana chahata hoon. I want to construct the Taj Mahal, Mumtaz mil gayi hai magar. I found Mumtaz, but woh shaadi nahi karti. She is not marrying me.

As a Married One
Takdir hai, magar kismat nahi khulti. I like to, but I do not have luck. Tajmahal banana chahata hoon. I want to construct the Taj Mahal, lekin Mumtaz nahi marti. But Mumtaz is not dead.

After 5 Years of Marriage
Tajmahal kya cheez hai? What is the Taj Mahal? Isse badi imarat banaunga. I will construct something bigger than this. Mumtaz to marke dafan hui thi. Mumtaz was buried after death, tuzhe to main zinda dafnaunga. But I will bury you alive.

Please enjoy it as a joke... only.

At least he loved his 4th wife. How many here love their only wife as much as he loved his 4th? (Just kidding)  Love was, is, and will always be in the air. But your second point has something to deliver; Shah Jahan must have been hanged.

At least he loved his 4th wife... Wow, man. But pray tell me, how come you know that he loved all his wives in the first place? And how come you know that people over here don't love their wives? Further ahead, you seem to agree that killing a husband to marry his wife is justified (not in Indian laws at least)... And then marrying her sister to show true love? Read the sentences again and think about it... It's pure lust (or rather worse) and not love.
