Dear Seniors,

I am planning to take two diploma courses at the All India Institute of Management & Studies (AIIMAS, Chennai):

1. Diploma in Human Resources Development (6 months - distance learning)
2. Diploma in Labour Laws (6 months - distance learning)

During my conversation with the counselor at AIIMAS, I learned the following details:
1. No classes will be conducted for either of the courses.
2. It is possible to pursue two courses simultaneously.
3. Exams will be held at the end of the 6-month period, and certificates will be issued at the end of the 7th month.
4. Certificates issued by AIIMAS are recognized worldwide.

When I requested the counselor for references from previous batch students, she declined, stating, "IF YOU ARE INTERESTED JOIN, WE ARE NOT ABLE TO TAKE EFFORT SEARCHING FOR PREVIOUS BATCH CANDIDATES NUMBERS AND GIVE IT TO YOU."

Could you please advise me on whether obtaining a diploma from AIIMAS would be beneficial in India and abroad?

Regards,
Miracle

Distance Learning Qualifications: A Critical Perspective

A simple and straightforward answer is NO. Distance learning qualifications come at the bottom of the heap. I am sure some of the HR experts will either support me or take issue with my views.

Have a nice day.
