I think in stead of making them bored by teaching grammar you can ask them to make use of a particular word in sentence differently so that they can focus on English communication.

I came across this article today. It's very practical and easy to implement. A suggestion: as you would train corporate employees, please request them to read 'The Economist' aloud. This would not just strengthen their business intelligence but also improve their vocabulary and sentence formation.

- [The Economist](http://www.economist.com)

Suggestion

English is thought-provoking. Take a word, relate it to the moment, and you can set the ball of words, thoughts, stories, and incidents rolling. Start each day with something that caught your attention. You will have a wonderful session on expressions in English, some very original.
