Hi, This is Rishi. I am working as a Recruiter in a consultancy. I have been working for the past 3 months in one consultancy. Unfortunately, we are not receiving any good requirements from our existing clients. As a result, my management is not willing to pay the salary to our employees (they didn't mention anything in the offer letter regarding targets), but they are insisting on a target-based salary. We have about 12 employees here, so it affects the livelihood of 12 employees. Can you please suggest ways in which we can claim our pay?

Thank you

Thank you for your prompt response.

However, they are ignoring the matter of the offer letter, and some employees have still not received their offer letters. In this situation, they have declared that they will not provide a salary until we reach the target. What steps should be taken in this situation? Please guide us.

Thank you,
Rishi

Dear Rishi,

I also own a recruitment firm in Mumbai. What I can say is that people who are working with my firm are my employees, and if they are committed toward the job, I have to pay them their salary on time. If I am not getting business from a company, then that is my loss, and I cannot pass it on to my employees.

Well, my suggestion to you is that you should leave the job in a single day. This will create pressure on your company to pay you your dues and hopefully prevent the same mistake from happening again. However, if even after submitting your resignation letter, there is no change, it could mean that your employer does not have the financial means to sustain the business, and there is no reason for you to continue in that job.

You can reach me at 98210 14796.
