hi,
Can any body help me out in getting the clear salary structure given to employees going to onsite for eg: 1 year - 3 years. Are there any seperate charges given as daily expenses.
As we are getting a project from kuwait were we need to send a proposal of staffing budget.

Hi
I assume you don't have an office in kuwait and your employees will be working at the client site.
Keeping the above in mind, you need to make an overseas travel policy. Categorize it into short and long term.
Short term is 0-180 days and long term beyond 180 days.
Accordingly allocate per diem allowance (PDA) The PDA is given to the employee for his meals, laundry, conveyance and miscellaneous expenses.
The company can ask the client to take care of the accomodation.
Thus the employee will still continue to get the Indian salary and also the PDA.
While finalizing the PDA, please take into account the following :
- Cost of living in kuwait
- available public transport, frequency and cost
- distance from residence to office

Yes we dont have office in Kuwait and they are going to stay more than 180 days.
Can any one share with me the policy which is in exisitance for USA and Europian region.
