I don't think you should give the cash voucher to my friend. But try to give a mesmerizing gift that should make them feel happy and that should be a memory too.
Please don't ever show the differences between the employees when it has come to a religious festival because there can be Muslims also. Nobody should feel bad at any cost but should feel the unity, and the same feeling between them, dear. In my company, they have given the same shifts, but the quality is good and the same gifts to everyone on one occasion.

It will depend on the budget and the profile of the employees. If they are all bachelors, then think of vouchers that they can use for shopping. I also don't think that you should discriminate according to the position. Household items like a bedsheet set or towels are also attractive options.

Instead of cash or self-development books, I suggest you gift them anything (based on your budget) that they can share with the family. The employee would feel proud to show it to their family, where their family would also remember the company and the gift every time they use it. My suggestion would be to use the money to buy gifts for underprivileged children or orphans. Ensure that the staff are informed of the date and time when you would be visiting these children to hand over the gifts. Include their families too - this will ensure two things: (a) Bonding of staff at the get-together and (b) the goodwill that is generated by this gesture will improve morale in the staff as well as their families. Please consider!
