Dear all,

Please help me with your suggestions. If an employee is on a probation period and is not eligible to take any leave, any leave taken will be considered as leave without pay and will be deducted from that month's salary. The employee is entitled to medical reimbursement of 1250/- per month, which can be claimed quarterly.

My question is: if the employee is on leave for 6 days due to a health problem in a quarter (3 months), should the 6 days' medical reimbursement amount also be deducted from the quarterly payout or not?

I urgently need your suggestions.

Thank you!

Dear Tripti,

We are calculating the Medical Reimbursement amount on a proportionate basis. If you have marked LP for 6 days, the medical reimbursement amount for the month will be Rs. 1000/- (1250/30*24).

Supriya
