I have completed my M.H.R.M. course and am currently working at TCS (mca21 Project). However, my current role is not in HR but rather in project management, creating awareness programs, and handling various types of e-forms related to company laws. I am now considering further studies to enhance my career prospects.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could advise me on what kind of course would be suitable for me to improve my job opportunities in the current market. Your guidance in finding a suitable option or providing advice for a better career path would be invaluable to me. I eagerly await your response.

Hi Prakash,
It is great to know that you are pursuing MHRM; I guess it is similar to an MBA! Working with the "Best Employer of the Year" must make everyone jealous of you. We all aspire to be in a company like TCS, which is Asia's largest company and has a great track record of work culture and vision.
Your query is not clear when you say you are not in an HR job. I guess you are not part of the HR Department, right?
My understanding is that you are part of the technical team at TCS and aspire to be part of HRD.
Firstly, let me tell you, as a Project Manager, your role would also involve HR management. In fact, all line managers are the first line of HR specialists as we manage our teams.
Secondly, being in the technical line, we enjoy the best of both worlds, i.e., a technical specialist as well as an HR person, which may not be the case when you move to an HR role.
So, I am sure you are a great asset to your team, having been trained in HRM. Use your skills to enhance your team and implement all your learnings. As you grow from a PM to a GM, all your skills will be required to address issues like talent management, competency development, team building, attrition management, etc.
Also, the labor laws applicable to you and your team are known to you, which is an advantage. Just chill; you are doing great. You should undergo training in your domain and build your expertise so that you become the most sought-after PM. Now, cheer up and always look at the brighter side of life! 😛😛😛😀😀
