Hi friends,

Can anyone provide me details on paternity leave? Also, please let me know how many paternity leaves can be given as per the law. If anyone has a draft of the policy, I kindly request you to provide it to me.

Thanks,
Chitra

As per my knowledge, the central government gives 15 days of paternity leave to their employees for up to 2 children. Nowadays, private companies are also providing a maximum of 7 days of leave. Seniors, if there are any updates or additional information, please let me know.

Thanks and regards

Kindly let me know regarding paternity leave benefits for ad-hoc employees in Central Govt Institutions. I have been refused paternity leave because I am employed on an ad-hoc basis. Are there particular rules/laws that prohibit such discrimination?

On a lighter note: I have been provided married staff accommodation, then why not paternity leave?!

Ad-Hoc Employment and Paternity Leave

Not on a lighter note, rather on a serious note: You are employed on an ad-hoc basis just to deprive you of all the perks and benefits of a regular permanent employee. Employing on an ad-hoc basis saves many costs and hassles.

Hi friends, kindly let me know whether paternity leave is mandatory to all the organization or it depends on the company policy?
