I have been working at one company for 7 years. My salary is more than 5k. My management has requested me to leave with 2 options. The reason given is poor performance.

Option 1: I need to tender my resignation, and I will receive 2 months' pay in advance as a benefit.

Option 2: Management will issue a termination letter with a notice period of 2 months.

I selected option 2. The following week, I was called again for a performance review. In this meeting, I expressed my disagreement. After 2 days, a final warning was issued because management did not agree with my explanation during the performance review. On the same day, a letter of suspension was given for 5 days. Next week, a domestic inquiry will be conducted.

So far, no show cause letter has been given. The warning letter stated that I need to improve my performance, but no specific time frame was provided. In the organization chart, my name has been removed.

On the same day as the domestic inquiry, I suspect that the show cause letter will be issued, and I will be requested to respond. What is the procedure, and within how many days should I respond? Please advice.

Dear krishnank7, If you have proof of communication between you and the line manager or the management then just give a complaint to the Labour Inspector....
