Dear All,
Do we need to pay any amount to Delhi Labour Fund similar to what we pay in Gurgaon or Haryana to Punjab Labour Welfare Fund? I would like to invite seniors to shed some light on this matter.

Dear Member,
Yes, we are also required to deposit LWFC for both employees and employers as per the information given below:
As per Section 6BB of the Act, the components of the Labour Welfare Fund shall include contributions as follows:
(a) Rs. 0.75 every six months per employee as listed in the establishment register on 30th June and 31st December each year as the employee's share.
(b) Rs. 2.25 every six months per employee as the employer's share, to be paid before the 15th Day of July and 15th Day of January each year.
(c) Rs. 1.50 every six months per employee as the Government of Delhi's share, matching the employee's contribution. This amount is to be paid upon receipt of the statement in the prescribed format from the Welfare Commissioner of the Delhi Labour Welfare Board, detailing the total contributions from both employees and employers for each establishment.
The provisions of the Act apply to establishments employing five or more persons, as per section 2(4) of the Act.
All employees, except those in managerial or supervisory roles earning wages exceeding Rs. 2,500 per month, or those primarily performing managerial duties, are liable to contribute to the Labour Welfare Fund. Employers are responsible for directly paying the employee's and employer's shares to the Labour Welfare Fund. The Government of NCT of Delhi's share will be released upon receiving details of the contributions collected. Employers who default on payment may face recovery as arrears of land revenue.
Information submitted as requested.

As per your response above, we need to deduct the LWF only once from the employee's side. This means that if the employee is present in January, February, March, April, May, and June, we will only deduct the LWF in June, which is 0.75 paise.
Please advise, should I deduct the LWF for all months or only in June?
For example, if an employee works in all six months, we will deduct only in the last month, June, at 0.75 paise, with 2.25 paise deducted from the employer's side. Therefore, the total LWF deduction for one employee over six months would be Rs. 3.00.
Please clarify.
