Hi,
Please let me know if job sites like Naukri.com are earning money from the companies by disclosing the names of the employees who are uploading their latest CVs on their sites and searching for jobs. This is what happened to me as I received a call from my Managing Director asking me to remove my CV from Naukri.com, which he claims to have known from Naukri.com, a service provider to our company. At that time, I had not blocked my current employer from seeing my CV.
Could you shed some light on this? Is it really possible that job sites are earning money by disclosing employee searches to the employers?
Regards,
Rajat

Everything is business. Why are you posting the CV on a job portal? It is for the purpose of displaying your CV to the employers, and if your CV is found suitable, you will be considered by the employer. The job portal is collecting a fee from them for the service they are providing. There are options to block the viewing of the employers, and you can block those companies.
