Ravi,

Don't feel that it is punishment and all. Maybe you ate something so it happened to you. God helped you to come out of that pain in 3 hours. If he wanted to punish you, he must have not helped you!! :-P

Dear Ravi,

The sentences of yours vividly explain that the ALMIGHTY IS the ONE who shows the future for all, and whatever happens, either good or bad, is all due to the Almighty's blessings.

This reminds me of when I had a severe breathing problem a few years ago. The whole night, I did not sleep. At that time, I was alone, and my parents were out of town. Nobody was there to help me. I managed to get up (with much difficulty) and sat for about 4 hours continuously. I prayed only to GOD.

I do not know what happened, but since the next morning, I slept until 11 am. I am alive now due to ALMIGHTY'S blessings, no doubt about it.

Ravi, what you said is absolutely true.

Regards,
KB

"I think something is behind me. Yesterday, I posted this thread, and last night from 11 to 1, I had pain in my right chest, probably because of acidity/gas. For the first time in my life, I had this experience. It might be because some gods were watching me post this and acted accordingly. Yesterday, for two hours, I suffered in pain and thought of waking my mom to take me to the hospital. I thought I would die or what, but thanks to God's grace, I am alive today. I still don't know what the reason could be for the pain. That was a near-death experience. I remembered all my wrongdoings yesterday when I was in pain and thought, is this some punishment?"

Well, I had an experience and I would like to share it with you.

I had my spinal surgery in April 1997; it was scoliosis correction. The right side of my spine had a hump. So, it was operated on, and a rod was fixed to my spine. It was very painful as it is a major surgery that happened to me. Unfortunately, one of the screws in my rod was not fixed properly, so I had to undergo another surgery immediately within a week's time. When this second surgery was happening, it was very painful.

Then the third surgery happened in 1999. It was done to remove the rod. It was expected to be completed in 2 hours, but it took 9 hours. As the anesthesia was given for only 2 hours, I woke up in the middle of the surgery and saw the surgical tools in the hands of 4 doctors around me. I thought I was dead and in hell. Again, they gave me anesthesia. When I woke up, I was in the ICU with my mum and grandma holding my hands. Now, I am fine.

Suffering ennobles us and makes us better people.

As God blessed me, now I am alive and happy in a reputed career and with a loving hubby. Now, I can challenge and face any pain in my life. God made me strong!

Thanks to Ravi, I remembered my sweet memories.

I want to add on something, Ravi. Once during Navratri, I was sleeping near the worshiping place at home, and there was a diya lit near my head. While I was sleeping, I dreamt about something which is still a question to me. I saw that I was calling someone from the roof while coming down the stairs. There was no response, so I looked up and waited for the response. I saw it became cloudy, and suddenly a shadow passed from there and stopped as I was looking up. It bowed slowly and snatched (picked up) something from me, which was smoke only. I was awakened suddenly from my sleep, for about 2-3 seconds, and all I could see was only the window glass, then all went blank. Then that shadow, I don't know what happened, dropped that white smoke and left for about 2 minutes. After that, I was up and felt so heavy that all this was real.

I told my mum about it, and then she said when a person is dead, we light a diya near his/her head. God comes and takes the soul with him. Maybe it was due to that diya which was near your head. By mistake, he thought you should go with him.

I don't know whether it is true or not, but it was a really heavy experience of my life, and I truly felt the same about that shadow.

Regards,

J

Hi K Ravi Part II,

I am still unable to comprehend the reason behind asking such a question. You have said that something is behind you. The answer seems to be within yourself only. See the trends for the last few weeks or probably for months (whatever was building on during this period has culminated recently). I am also equally perturbed by your negative thinking by interpreting any pain/mishappening as is evident from your post. I would like to suggest as follows:

(a) Build your passion and start devoting time to hobbies.
(b) Be with plants, children, books, and pets.
(c) Spare time for relatives, friends, and colleagues.
(d) Start meditation and read scriptures, etc.
(e) Crack jokes as and when possible.

All of us have come to this world for some reason/purpose, and it's up to us and only us to keep everything around us positive.

Dear Jiya,

It is a belief that we must never sleep near the Pooja Room, especially close to the Diya. No ways. There are many reasons behind it.

Women in the age between teenage and middle age are not supposed to sleep near the pooja room. Hope you understand why I am saying this. The dreams like this are a message.

Do you have any Kali Matha Photo or any Durga Photo in the puja room? I will tell you the reason why I asked this.

It is believed that in the nights, God will be there in the house. They say that we must keep some food and sleep. It is told that Lakshmi Devi comes to our house in the night. I do not know how much of it is true.

I want to add something, Ravi. Once during Navratri, I was sleeping near the worshiping place at home, and there was a Diya lit near my head. Hi Ravi,

I had a similar experience a few years ago. I was in an accident on a highway between Oman and Dubai.

I was driving back from Oman to Dubai for an official meeting in a new car. Even though I wasn't driving fast and was within the road speed limit of 120/130 km/hr, I encountered this terrible accident.

As I approached a junction to cross to the other side and make a U-turn, a car suddenly appeared from the right side of the road about 50 meters away. The driver seemed to be assuming there were no other vehicles on the road. I was traveling at 110 km/hr and had to brake suddenly to avoid a collision. Unfortunately, my car did not have ABS (Antilock Braking System). I nearly hit the other car, lost control, and my car rolled over at least four times, causing significant damage to the front and rear sides of the car.

Fortunately, I was wearing a seat belt, which kept me attached to the driver's seat. Despite being unconscious after the accident and the car hitting a nearby light post, a passerby rescued me and took me to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Upon regaining consciousness, those who witnessed the accident thought I might not survive. I underwent a full-body scan at the hospital that evening, but thankfully, there were no internal injuries or blood clots, just some swelling on my right and left arms from the rollover.

Thanks to God's grace and the blessings of well-wishers, I am here today with all of you. I've learned from this experience to always maintain a positive mindset, accept life as it comes, and believe that even the worst events can lead to personal growth. Having the blessings of well-wishers can protect you in dire situations.

Regards,

Ramesh

Nithya,

Really, you have experienced a painful moment indeed to infer from your words. It's heartening to note the operation went on several times. All these real experiences prove the almighty's blessings to all. It's an indisputable fact that only God leads us to the glory of life, and whatever happens is through His blessings.

CiteHR is becoming Astha Group or a spiritual site for the retired. You ladies are overly enthusiastic about gods and goddesses' names. Let's have a separate time to discuss this. And Mr. Ravi, you said you remembered all the wrongdoings during your painful time. Have you counted them? Not sure, but so many? You took a decision not to repeat them in the future, but you cannot succeed because we are human, bound to make mistakes, commit wrongdoings, and strive to correct them. This is a cycle.

Ravi,

You experienced just a gas trouble. You probably ate some junk food.

Now my experience: A little different than any of what has been mentioned.

My mom was carrying then (with me in her stomach - She was around 6 months pregnant). One night it was raining heavily and it was so windy/breezy outside, that even the closed windows were making creepy noises. My mom is never scared of such noises or anything that can normally scare the hell out of anyone (unlike my dad and us, the kids).

They were sleeping peacefully when suddenly my mom felt a hand push her - as if someone was tapping her shoulder from behind. My mom woke up and asked my dad if he called her. He said, "NO!!"

Then again, she felt someone tap her shoulder from behind. She got up and even before she switched the light on, the carrom board - that we hung on a wall support, just threw on the bed right where she was sleeping. It was shocking; it fell with a huge force, and my dad and mom just looked at each other, realizing the "tap on the shoulder."

Had my mom not woken up, I would not be alive today.

I childishly asked my mom whenever she explained about that experience, "If you think it's God who came and tapped on your shoulder, why could he not just stop the board from falling and let things be silent?"

My mom smiled - she said, "It's God's way to let us know that he is around us at all times and we can trust that he will protect us."

Moreover, after this incident, my mom ran to my sister's room - who was just 5 years old then - and saw that she was shivering with fever and could not even get up and walk to my mom. She also has breathing problems...

What a miracle! Had my mom not woken up, I would have been dead, and my sister would have become sicker.

Though I was not born, I knew that God was around me.

For all those who think that death is the answer:

Shameless people - don't you know that you were born because he has plans for a bright future for you? How can you end the life gifted by the almighty?

So - never ever think of killing yourself. Don't defy the Lord. He is failing each time you try to hurt yourself.

Krithika,

As your mother is there with you, it's okay. If there is a picture of Ayyappan, Vishnu, Kali Matha, or Durga, you must not take any chances at all. You said you have divided it into two partitions, so your room is considered a separate room. It's okay, nothing to worry about!

Hello,

The forum is for members to express their views and not specifically for spamming. I understand this well. I do not understand why you are so concerned and label my posts as spam when there are other posts present. Who asked for your opinion? First, try to use the correct words in reference to the posts mentioned here. I have never spammed in any manner; I simply express my views. I see nothing wrong with commenting on common posts. I hope this clarifies things. I do not appreciate comments like these coming from people like you.

Dear K. Ravi,

Can I ask you some questions? What is your age? What is your education? Do you have friends? Why is there a part II in your name? Who is part 1? Depending on your age and experience in life, I can suggest some ideas to avoid this type of thinking.

Why is there a Part II in your name? Who is Part I? Depending on your age and experience in life, I can suggest some ideas to avoid this type of thinking.

Part I is deceased, and Part II is me. You can search all posts of Part I, K.Ravi. I am well-educated but have realized that in this world, only those who cheat and kill seem to succeed. I have now turned 25 years old and just want to rest in eternal peace.

Who wanted this hr_wonder to comment? First, why is he reacting so much to the post? Is he a psych, as he cares unnecessarily about others! Ask him to go to a good doctor.

Balaji Kuppusamy,

Unfortunately, I don't live on citehr (Rather I don't spam citehr ;-) ) So you see, I could not meet your expectation of being online forever.

However, I just read an emotional private message from you, and after replying to your emotional message, I see the statement here.

By not being overly emotional, I have also replied for your benefit.

I never said unnecessary things about others - but necessarily about you (Don't generalize here).

And I don't think it's going to affect you anywhere if I am a psychologist either. It's a general human tendency to care :-)

Moreover, please look at the forum topic. It's day life. Some people post articles, some people share experiences. They do it here because it's not particularly relevant to human resources, but yes, to "HUMAN BEINGS."

You always have a problem with what people do; now, how does it feel when someone points at you? You literally made a "huge drama" in the humor forum, asking people not to post anything funny. ??????

And here you are asking people not to post anything other than HR on a "Day Life" forum? ???

Get some life, Balaji Kuppusamy.

When you point at someone, remember to also accept what others are trying to say when they point at you. You never grow without criticism.

And I am sure you have already faced criticism from others with whom you have later fought and defended yourself.

"Death" is not a superstition. One day or the other, we all have to face it.

And who said talking about God, eternal life, or death is prohibited?

And as far as Ravi is concerned, he has exaggerated it, that is for sure. But there are many interesting facts about living through death that are investigated even today by researchers around the world. For once, even in Reader's Digest (It's a popular digest) had a separate article on "Life after death"... which is more or less like the experiences of people who see death and still get back to normal life.

Read... if you do so, you will never make such comments without knowing facts.
