I think the point is just that there is no physical equivalent to men for going through pregnancy and labor. That's just a fact, not man-bashing. There are obviously many wonderful fathers and husbands out there who work very hard for their families.
Men do not get pregnant. When their wives are expecting, they step up to the plate and ask for promotions and extra responsibilities at work to financially prepare for the new arrival. They also don't get any sleep as they can't sleep when their wives don't sleep. Men may not admit it, but their levels of worry go into overdrive. Not all men are conscientious partners willing to share in the experience.
It's up to you, ladies, to make sure that you find the "right daddies" for the children you bring into this world.
