Hi,

We are a company that has an agreement with an outside agency to provide housekeeping staff and personnel services. The housekeeping staff and security personnel come to work on the premises. The term of the agreement is for a year. Can you please let me know if we, as a company, are bound by the Minimum Wages Act?

The housekeeping staff and security personnel who work on our premises are under the employment of the outside agency. We make payments directly to the outside agency, and I believe the outside agency, in turn, pays the housekeeping staff and security personnel.

Hai Mr.Ranaganatha We have to bound to the Minimum wage act and need to pay their salaries as per minimum wages along with statutory benifits like PF and ESI . Regards UDAY
