For Women's Day celebration, a get-together of all the female employees in the cafeteria or a conference room can be organized. The event can be kicked off with an introduction as follows:
"International Women's Day is a tribute to the mothers, daughters, sisters, wives - such ordinary women as makers of history, the most fabulous astonishing women. So on this day, we deserve more than just a day of appreciation. Let's celebrate Women's Day! We have come up with a series of fun activities."
I) Mirror Image Game:
- Female employees can pair up for this activity where one person acts as the Actor and the other as her Reflector or Mirror image. The Reflector will imitate the actions and movements of the Actor.
- Scenarios for the pairs to choose and enact can include:
1. Holi Khelo
2. Act as if you are a Leader of the Tribal community
3. Walking on the moon
4. Cat fight
5. Act as if you were a Kid
6. You are a working woman managing home and workplace
7. You are the captain of the losing cricket team
8. Being attacked by a shark
9. Act as a newborn baby
II) Appreciation Card:
- Design a card or certificate with the Women's Day logo addressing each female employee. Pass it around the group for everyone to write positive things about the particular female employee - adjectives or feelings they have about her. This gesture boosts their spirits and gives a sense of pride when they learn how others perceive them. Each female employee will receive a card with appreciations written by all other participants.
