Hi, I am an MBA fresher in HR and Marketing. Points you can add in your questionnaire are:
1. Number of employees presently working.
2. Number of employees working last year.
3. Number of layoffs.
4. Number of employees who left the organization (in a particular department).

I think you should consider two to four organizations or a sector and evaluate the impact of the recession on that sector. A comparative analysis can be done. Conduct qualitative research.
