There are several ways to motivate a team. One of the best and most suitable ways is that the head of the team should act as a mentor and not as their manager. He/she should act as a guardian, not a judge. He/she should take out time to meet his/her teammates often, try to step into their shoes, and understand their feelings.
And last but not least, always when you pray for your success, pray to the Lord that with your success, it's not only you, but everyone in your direct/indirect touch would also be benefiting from your success.
