Can anyone suggest to me what the process of opening a new recruitment consultancy could be? What could be the key challenges faced when opening a consultancy firm with many players already in the market? Would it be a right move considering the recession in the market?

Before you start with the recruitment firm, I think you should conduct a survey on the current recruitment needs of companies. Also, try to identify which sectors are the key recruiters during this lag period.

1. You have suggested to do a survey...what could be the format/s for doing the same?
2. The process of conducting the survey looking at the market in a place like Ahmedabad.
3. How to tap the Clientele?
4. How to establish/market ourselves in the market? What should be the marketing strategy?
5. How much investment is required to set up a Recruitment Firm?
6. Is it advised to start the Firm single-handedly?
