Hi Seniors,
I wanted to know the names of good HR Heads in the country (India). In other words, who is the HR guru for present-day India?
This is just for my knowledge as I am totally unaware of whom to pick as my role model. Please help.

HR is a creative field. As every company has different policies, strategies, and ethics, similarly, every HR professional is different and has their own style. So try being yourself and inspire yourself by building your own image, SELF-IMAGE, sweetie.

Hi,
I agree with that but would like to know about the leaders in the HR field. To give an example, Amitabh is a leader in the film industry, but others also have their own identity. Similarly, I am interested in knowing who leads the HR industry in India.
Please guide.

Hi Sackshi,
According to me, Infosys has always been known for its best HR practices. It is the human resources head, TV Mohandas Pai of Infosys, who takes home the fattest pay package. Pai's salary and bonus, in fact, are the highest among all the board of directors of the company, including Chairperson Nandan M. Nilekani and CEO S. Gopalakrishnan.
TV Mohandas receives a salary of $82,033 and a bonus of $308,625 per year, making him the highest-paid among the 15 members of the board. Apart from him, I would like to know the names of other HR gurus in India.

Dear HR Members,
As quoted by Ms. Gayathri S, ascertaining the name of an HR Guru is a bit tough. However, individuals like Mr. TV Rao, Prof. C K Prahlad, Dr. Rajesh Khurana, Mr. Pai of Infosys, and many more are prominent in the field. In Telugu Music, the great singer Thyagaraja Swamy aptly stated, "Many great men, our deep respects to all." There is no definitive measuring yardstick in any field as it is a continuous flow. Some excel in theory, while others excel in practice, particularly in people management skills. Regardless, the HR function holds prime importance. For instance, in an organization, having great technology but lacking good human resources renders the technology useless. I firmly believe that a company can achieve success even without cutting-edge technology, solely with excellent personnel, i.e., human resources. In this context, networking is primarily facilitated by the HR guru or leader of the HR team.
I hope this clarifies my perspective.
Warm regards,
