Hi,

I need to prepare a questionnaire on 'employees' satisfaction in recruitment'. Can anyone help me out to prepare? It will be very helpful for my project.

Dear Vimala Your question is not clear what does it mean by employees satisfaction in recruitment. Regards Sonali Wagle

Hi Sonali,

It is related to new employees. I need to ask questions to them since they may know the effectiveness of the recruitment process they recently faced. They can point out the merits and demerits of the current recruitment process.

Start with the end objective in mind. You can divide the questionnaire into four sections:

1. Pre-interview:
- Access to vacancy information (e.g., portal, company website)
- Clear job description and eligibility criteria

2. At interview:
- Convenience of place and time
- Various forms and information asked from candidates
- Feedback on security, reception, and time taken in attending the candidate
- Information shared in case of delay and total time taken for the whole process
- Number of interview rounds and follow-up

3. During the interview:
- How the panel treated the candidates
- Nature of questions asked
- Handling of candidate queries

4. Post-interview:
- Time between joining and initial induction
- Offer process, negotiation, joining time, and required documents
- Experience on the induction day
- Availability of work desk, mail ID, and other necessary infrastructure
- Perception of company culture, policies, communication, and alignment of job profile with actual work

I suggest creating an initial draft and then seeking feedback from your senior colleagues at the office. Ensure the questionnaire is not overly cumbersome.

Dear Vimala,

You can start with the pilot study within your department and obtain feedback about the survey form. Alternatively, you can show it to your superior. If they feel some changes are required, then you can incorporate all the changes and proceed.

All the best.
