Hello, I'd like to know a little more about Form 16 for the last financial year. When I asked my employer for the same, I was told that since I do not come under the tax bracket, I will not be issued one as it is not necessary. I am still a little puzzled as I thought that it is mandatory for the company to issue one. I was told to use my salary slips for the same. As a result, I have gone ahead and filed my return without one. Please advise on the exact procedure as it will help me understand the process better. Thanks in advance. Regards!
