I have found many articles saying Six Sigma has done wonders in streamlining the manufacturing process. Since it is successful in streamlining the manufacturing process, one hopes Six Sigma can also do so in construction project management. Any specific suggestions as to how to go about this?

Take your corporate (or project) goals and do a Y=f(x) cascade. See where the pain or issues are, then define projects around these areas. Whatever you do, do not take on a project without a high-level sponsor.
