In todays Energy Crisis situation, everyone is thinking to reduce Energy Bill. Are You? Share your action plan. My Present Plan - Replace Tube lights & Bulbs by CFLs in my home.

This year, I changed my normal bulb to CFL in my home. In my office, I check all the rooms in my wing and switch off all unnecessary lights and fans at 11:30 AM and 3:30 PM. I have sent an email to the CMD requesting to provide advances to employees to buy solar water heaters. I keep enquiring about products based on solar energy in big malls like Spencers, etc. More than reducing our energy bills, it's important to switch to renewable sources of power. The safe limit for CO2 in the atmosphere is 350 ppm; already, we have crossed this limit.

Pankkaj, you have raised a very important issue. I would love to hear the steps our citizens are taking to conserve energy in the office as well as at home.

In my company, we have started an Energy Conservation campaign. The response was quite good. We received about 87 suggestions, many of which are very innovative. We are going to implement almost all suggestions. This year, our target is to reduce energy costs by 10%.

It's good to know that Ravi is going to reduce energy costs by 10%. Steps like these would make children born after 2030 very proud of us. I would like to know from more people what steps they have taken toward an environmentally friendly lifestyle.
