Dear Senior members,

Greetings!! I would like to know what various parameters companies consider when conducting campus recruitment. On what basis do they select a college? What competencies are they looking for in students, and how is cost-benefit analysis done?

Please do reply!!!!

Dear,

Campus recruitment is a very important source of recruitment these days for big companies. Generally, a company looks at all the local colleges affiliated with the local university. Sometimes they also look for premier universities as well (it varies from company to company).

Companies take into consideration the following parameters:

1) Students who are eligible for campus recruitment must have consistently achieved first-class grades (again, this varies).

2) Companies ask the college itself to provide good candidates. In this case, instead of conducting interviews with all students, they select a few recommended by the college.

3) Companies prefer colleges with a good past record of 100% placement.

4) Colleges with a good reputation.

There are many other parameters. Campus interviews can be time-consuming, but they are beneficial when a company needs to do bulk recruitment. Companies cannot always arrange campus interviews when they only have a few positions to fill. Sometimes, companies request past alumni student data from colleges.

I hope this information is helpful to you.
