Parle (Sathaye) College in Vile Parle (E), Mumbai 400 057 is celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year, and the newly formed ASPA (Association of Sathaye and Parle College Alumni) is actively involved. The website aspa.org.in is under preparation. Do check it out.
The year-long celebrations begin with a three-day program on Friday, June 20, in the presence of dignitaries from various fields who will also address the gathering. A gala procession/dream run is scheduled for the morning of June 21st. A get-together and contributory dinner are planned for the evening of June 21st on the college grounds. A cultural program has been arranged for the evening of Sunday, June 22nd, at Dinanath Mangeshkar Auditorium, Vile Parle (E).
Those who have been associated with the college, please join us! Enjoy a great human relationship experience with your old friends. Those who, unfortunately, cannot make it to the event, please share your feelings with us by emailing us at aspa@aspa.org.in. Also, pass on the message to your friends who may find this relevant. As part of the above celebrations, there is a suggestion to establish a career center for current college students and recent graduates. Do you have any ideas on this? Particularly for students from the humanities/arts stream and those educated in the vernacular medium?
