Kindly read your company policy working hours of Saturday bcz it is a part of your company policy first discuss with your senior management then you must be understand bcz your company policy say it is counted as full day then you will consider as full leave not half day.

if you work on saturday you will get full day pay even it is half working day similarly if you take leave then also the salary will be deduct for full day

The company is working half day on Saturday,but if Company is paying full day salary /wages for such half day working,then leave for such Saturday will attribute to FULL DAY LEAVE and obviously not half day.

If he waorks on that day he will be paid full day wages....obviously if he does not work he will not be eligible for full day wage. If he want to take leave, he should take full day leave.
