It seems like that you are going through a tough time of your life. Please remember, tough times never lasts, tough people do.

Here are some suggestions for you to work upon:

a) Stop treating yourself like a victim. Accept the situation and move forward.

b ) See that you are right now in a weak spot as the management didn’t support you. Talk to some people you can trust and see how you can work out your way.

c) I know it could be difficult but focus on your work and don’t give anyone a chance for complaint.

d) Carry some music with you at work and listen to it in your break time. You can carry a book also.

e) Make some new friends at work.

f) Take one day at a time and remember that there is God who is there to take care of you, if you take charge of your situation.

g) Focus on other areas of your life. Join a hobby or a group. I remember joining Bharat Soka Gakkai at one point in my life and it was really great.

h) Talk to your management again and see if they can understand your point of view.

i) Write a letter or email to the head of your department or unit and focus on facts and not feelings.

j) Sometime we have to be politically savvy, so even if it calls for apologizing from that stupid manager, do that. Some crazy people who become managers need some bit of ego massage.

Remember, that you can always come at citeHR and share your feelings. There are a lot of us who care for you and pray for you.

Wish you all the best!
