Dear Ayuub,

I am not agree with my peers that always monteary benefits will work out for controlling abeensteism,along with this some non monterary benefits like apperication letter, cofee with HR Manager, one day picnic, free meal passes are working out in more effective manner.

Also,counselling of employees to make them understand how absenteesim badly affects their carrer path and company profits.

We should addrees more the intangible benefits rather than direct tangible benefits to employees.

Hi,
I like the idea of sending Post card to the villages. In my organisation we r already giving lots of liberty to employees....stil absenteeism is very high.. i don't want to spend any money on them to prevent absenteeism. so, i guess 'post card' idea will work in my company..i will give a notice in the first week of every month mentioning the name of top 3 absentees and top 3 attendees...

I got the new issue here that one of our production leader , joined the company since 1995, didn't come to work after his taken leave of 2 days.
He already never come to work without notice for 4 days.
We do call or sms to his mobile phone but either no reply or no answer.
After checking with his friend mentioned he got 2 wife but both house empty.
Can anybody share with me what is the next action.
