Presently I’m on maternity leave from March 20th,2018 and leave will come to end in sep, 2018. I asked my present employer for work from option from October for which they denied and said cannot accommodate. Please guide on below:
1. Can remaining maternity leave be considered as notice period.
Or
2. will my notice be waived off
Or
3.or should I ask for my notice period pay because the employer is unable to accommodate my request I’m planning to resign.
Please note my notice period is of 2 months.

Dear Madam,
You are already enjoying MB which is your legal right. It is not in good taste to think of leaving just because your employer is unable to allow you to work from home after you rejoin the work. There could be genuine reasons for it.
But you have any other good reasons to resign, to do so after joining duty and serving two months' notice as required ( or pay two months' salary if it is permissible).
You must demonstrate a sense of responsibility and gratitude towards the organisation for giving you opportunity to serve and also to make living out of it during your tenure while leaving.
After enjoying MB ,rejoining and then leaving for genuine reasons after completion of notice period would be most fair act demonstrating above attitude.
