dear Seniors
I have got a couple of offers from two Multi national HR Consultants. But i was informed from both the companies that they work on a target basis. I am new to the industry, so did not get the point right.
i confirmed if some incentives are linked with it ? and the answer was no...not as such!!!
I have been only told that they have an yearly target which is split into quaterly and monthly... based on the amount billed to the client
both the companies also warned me about the amount of peer pressure....
kindly suggest what am i looking at....???
IS this a right career strat in HR???
will i be able to get into the HR/Recruitment deptt of the the corporates later on???
Thanks
Priyanka

Hi Priyanka,
I suggest you to join in a consultancy to start up your career in recruitment....Don't think about money....cause u will get to know many things in a consultancy. Here you will learn end to end recruitment than in a company.
Once you get an experience than move to a company. Companies will definitely hire you with the consultancy recruitment experience.

Hi,
Why not...? you can reach the targets but you need to work hard to reach the targets .Initially you will find it difficult to reach the target... but dont get disappoint and keep trying. you will definitely reach the target once you get the grip... I mean once you understand the process you really enjoy working.

Hi Priyankarun!
If you want to make your career into recruitment, consultancy is the best place to start. As you come to know of each and every details and complications involved in resourcing, even the minute ones.
As far as targets are concerned, you'll have to meet targets wherever you go except of few organizations. Take it as challenge. Once you'll be into it, you'll enjoy the work and peer pressure.
For more queries do contact me.
Cheers!
